Shenny Yu
CEO
Shenny is a serial entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in healthcare and aesthetics. In China, she founded a medical aesthetics platform that grew into a nationwide network of 40 medical aesthetics clinics and 220 beauty spas before her exit in 2020.
Based in Zurich, she leads BEAUTY CHECK’s operations, brand strategy and international expansion. Her vision is to develop BEAUTY CHECK into a global skincare and aesthetics platform rooted in Switzerland, with plans to expand its business and service network across Europe and Asia.
Marina Jovicic
Founder & Director of Skin Therapy
Marina founded BEAUTY CHECK in 2007 in Seefeld Zürich and brings over 27 years of experience in skin therapy, having personally treated more than 25,000 clients.
She oversees treatment protocols, therapist training and professional standards. Her approach combines advanced skincare expertise with personalised care, guided by one belief: lasting results begin with understanding each client’s skin.
Kevin Gretener
IT Lead
Behind every seamless BEAUTY CHECK experience is a strong and reliable digital foundation. As the IT Lead, Kevin oversees the company’s digital infrastructure, systems and technical development, ensuring that technology supports both the team’s daily operations and the client experience.
With a structured and detail-oriented approach, he continuously optimises BEAUTY CHECK’s digital ecosystem, combining efficiency, reliability and innovation. As the brand continues to grow, Kevin plays a key role in building a digital environment designed to evolve with it — intuitive, efficient and ready for the future.
Christina Rutz
Skincare Sales & Product Education Expert
With over 30 years of experience in the beauty and skincare industry, she combines extensive product expertise with a strong background in skincare sales, brand education and professional training. Her career includes working with renowned beauty brands and 12 years as an International Clinical Trainer, educating doctors and healthcare professionals worldwide.
At BEAUTY CHECK, her focus is on skincare product sales and product education, turning specialist knowledge into practical sales skills. She trains our team to understand product benefits, communicate their value with confidence and make personalised recommendations that build client trust.
Carina Soares
Skin Therapist
Carina is a talented Skin Therapist with a natural sensitivity for the skin and a genuine eye for detail. She is currently further developing her professional expertise at BEAUTY CHECK, deepening her knowledge within our holistic approach to skin and body care.
With a gentle touch, precision and attentiveness, Carina tailors each treatment to the individual needs of the skin. Her calm presence, dedication and intuitive understanding of the skin make her a valued member of the BEAUTY CHECK team.
